Last updated: 15 October 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of recording, mixing, mastering, and studio rental services (the "Services") provided by Timolabaadvisory 合同会社 (the "Studio"). By booking a session, the client agrees to be bound by these terms.

1. Service Provision and Booking

Clients may request a booking via the contact form or telephone. A booking is considered confirmed only after the Studio accepts the request and the required deposit is received.

Clients under the age of 16 must provide parental consent and be accompanied by a legal guardian. All equipment operation within the studio must be conducted under the supervision of our engineers, Mana Kimura or Mio Nakamura.

2. Pricing and Payment Terms

All listed prices include the Japanese consumption tax of 10%. Detailed rates are available on the Services page and are calculated per hour or per track.

A deposit of 30% of the total estimated cost is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid upon completion of the session or prior to the final delivery of files.

For B2B transactions, payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date. The Studio reserves the right to withhold final delivery if payments are overdue.

3. Cancellations and Amendments

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made at least 3 days before the scheduled session are free of charge. For cancellations made within 3 days of the session, the deposit is non-refundable.

In the event of studio closure due to force majeure, the Studio will offer a rescheduled date or a full refund. For data handling during such events, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

4. Revisions and Delivery

For mixing and mastering services, clients are entitled to up to 3 rounds of revisions free of charge after the initial delivery. Subsequent revisions or significant structural changes (including re-recording) will incur additional fees.

Final deliverables are provided in WAV and MP3 formats. Session archives are stored for 12 months following delivery, after which they may be deleted without prior notice.

5. Copyright and Transfer of Rights

Ownership and rights to the recorded audio (the Master) are transferred from the Studio to the client only upon 100% payment of all applicable fees. Until full payment is received, all rights remain reserved by the Studio.

The client warrants that all musical compositions and materials provided for recording do not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party. The client shall indemnify the Studio against any claims resulting from such infringements.

6. Limitation of Liability

While the Studio maintains high standards for its equipment and facilities, it shall not be held liable for data loss resulting from unforeseen accidents or equipment failure, except in cases of gross negligence. Clients are encouraged to maintain their own backups of critical data.
